At Bethany United Church of Christ, you’ll find a community that is open-hearted, thoughtful, and grounded in God’s love for all people. We gather each week to seek meaning, to worship with honesty and hope, and to practice the kind of faith that makes room for questions, compassion, and courage. Whether you’ve been part of a church your whole life or you’re exploring faith for the first time, you are welcome here—just as you are.
Bethany UCC is a caring community in Christ where strangers become friends. We aim at Bethany to be a welcoming, family-friendly fellowship; open, caring, loving, and spiritually helpful; a community of faith reaching out to our neighbors with hope and new life. We are a community of faith that reaches outward as much as we gather inward. We believe Christ calls us not only to love one another within our walls, but to show up for our neighbors in tangible ways. Through acts of service and everyday compassion, we seek to embody hope and new life in our wider community.
The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one church to join faith and action. With over 5,000 churches and nearly one million members across the U.S., the UCC serves God in the co-creation of a just and sustainable world. The UCC is a church of firsts, a church of extravagant welcome, and a church where “…they may all be one” (John 17:21).
